    Sign for Chelsea?
  2. Chelsea 2 Newcastle 0

Yeah it was. It made me laugh when Terry Venables was on the screen and he started going on about what a top manager he is.
  3. Tottenham 5 Chelsea 3

Yesterday I was absolutely fuming with that result and performance. But after thinking abotu it for a while, it's probably just what the team needed. They haven't really been at the races for a few games and a good hiding hopefully has shaken some of them awake. Also don't forget how many times United had a good kicking (sometimes from us) during their dominant period. it can happen to any team at any time. I still think we will win the league and I still think we'll win 1 cup. Hopefully 2 with a bit of luck....and next season we will be even better. I think the first 12-13 matches spoiled us slightly into thinking that Chelsea were some unstoppable force this season. I'd also like to know what Jose was thinking with the Salah sub. Baffling.
  4. Stoke City 0 Chelsea 2

Getting an early goal really is the key here. The longer it stays 0-0 the more I fancy Stoke :(
  5. Chelsea 3 Tottenham 0

What a magical little man he is.
  6. Chelsea 3 Tottenham 0

    Lads, it’s Tottenham.
  7. Official: Chelsea Sack Di Matteo

Best of luck to him. If he succeeds, we succeed.
  8. Official: Chelsea Sack Di Matteo

For some reason I am truly shocked about this. I don't know why - I knew he'd get the push at some point during the season, but it seems to hasty. There can only be 2 explanations. The board and Roman panicked and dropped the axe, or they already had someone lined up and we're waiting for a bad result or two to do the deed. As a lesser of 2 evils I hope its the second one. RDM is a club legend and we will always remember him. Such a shame that it had to end like this. Just for the record, I think people wanting Roman out is a bit of an emotional outburst right now. But I'll not get into that. Who next? Lord knows... Pep? RAFA? God I hope its not Rafa. Too negative and will only get the sack in 12 months time (or less!). Out of those we've been linked to I'd prefer Pep... but I don't know... I don't know what to say... Oh well...roll on the next announcement I suppose.
  9. Official: Eden Hazard Departs For Real Madrid

It just gets better and better with this lad. In the friendly against England I thought he looked "ok", against Man City he looked like he's got talent but I think the sending off negated anything special we might see.. but the 2 PL games so far- WOW. He looks very special indeed, and only 21. I was just thinking all the time I was watching "give it to Hazard give it to Hazard" :) What a player.
  10. Josh Mc Eachran

Hope the lad gets some decent time on the pitch at Boro and comes back ready to fly high for us next season.
  11. Official: Eden Hazard Departs For Real Madrid

Hazard certainly looks like a special player. Being so young as well there is plenty of scope for improvement. The future looks bright. I just hope we can keep hold of him throughout his peak years :)
  12. Salomon Kalou

Good luck Mr.Kalou. You were the most infuriating player I can remember - but we still loved you really :P
  13. I must admit that I am a little disappointed. I made a post supporting AVB before the Birmingham, Napoli and WBA games I believe. At that time I fully supported the man and thought he needed time. After those 3 matches I didn't support him as much anymore, but I still felt as though he should get until the end of the season. Maybe that was just me wanting us to keep hold of a manager for more than 5 minutes though. I think all we can be clear on right now is that whoever comes in needs to be someone with balls and an air of authority about them. I know that Capello was known as something of a disciplinarian and maybe he's the man for the job. I don't know whats going on inside the club and neither does anyone else here I'd imagine. I am also disappointed that this speculation and rumor about the next manager is going to be ongoing until the summer. I just hope RDM actually knows what he's doing and can wring a bit of life out of the players until the end of the season. I can't imagine it being possible to get any worse, haha. Ah well. Whatever the true reasons for his exit. I wish AVB all the best for the future. I will miss his perfectly groomed beard.
  14. Didier Drogba

    Couldn't agree more.
  15. Official: Torres Makes Milan Move Permanent

Thats a good point. Torres could find himself in a battle for his starting place if Drogba/Anelka or even Sturridge start scoring in his absense.
