  1. Musical Tastes

Haha fair enough, oh and sincerest apologies for getting your name wrong Jon. That is despicable. Anyway, feel free to name your mainstream alternatives (those well known bands lol).
  2. Musical Tastes

Franz Ferdinand, The Manics and Bloc Party are okay. Btw, Kopparberg is shite - it is like drinking what toilet cleaner smells like. Whoever commissioned that piss to be sold should be shot lol.
  3. Musical Tastes

Sorry John, but apart from MGMT, who are these bands? lol.
  4. Musical Tastes

Haha the only ones I know from that list are, Wu Tang, Ghostface, Mobb Depp, Tupac, Nas, Busta Rhymes and Kane & Abel. The rest I haven't got a clue about lol. The only one I LIKE from that list is Busta Rhymes lol.
  5. Musical Tastes

Hello, I'm Stuart Wilson (CFCnet contributor). Panic is a good song by The Smiths. I just wish they had a different vocalist, as their music's good, ie Johnny Marr's riffs always work well. I preferred Johnny in Electronic tbh. I'm partial to electronic music, as well as rock.
  6. Salomon Kalou

Fair enough, cheers. Although poor old Rajkovic didn't get a mention from me and when he did it was about his own goal against the Ivory Coast, poor bloke!
  7. Salomon Kalou

Hello Ndewey. I'm Stuart Wilson (alias doober) from the site, who wrote the Kalou article. Apologies for the poor journalism and well done for spotting the mistake! I will try harder to ensure my facts are rock solid next time! Cheers :) Stuart.
  8. Michael Essien

As we all know we all have to learn from our mistakes. Once Essien learns how to tackle players properly, he will not receive these stupid but deserved bans. Anyway, Makelele is certainly more than capable of fulfilling this position in only two games and is just as good, so I dont see this ban as a real problem.
  9. Didier Drogba

Thank you very much, Kristina. You are a very kind soul. Du ist schones madchen! Danke schon fur viele hilfe auf meinem artikel! Not sure about my German there although I did get a B at GCSE! Average!
  10. Didier Drogba

Cheers for your help guys and I appreciate the trouble.
  11. Didier Drogba

Hi all. Can anyone help in telling me how long Didier Drogba is out for and also is Hernan's injury serious? Hope not as both have been in good form throughout this season. Thanks.
  12. Chelsea Reserve & Youth Team

Good to see em getting a chance. Good luck to those lads and the Philippines.
  13. Didier Drogba

Well, I think the stats are correct, but I worked them out myself! I'm a bit sad like that you know! Bazza not got anything to add about my stats? I'm surprised.
  14. Didier Drogba

HERE'S SOME Drogba STATS .13 Home League Goals In Last 17 Home League Games. .5 league goals in just 5 league starts-has scored 2 goals in 4 sub apps. .3 C League goals in last 7 C League games. .Has scored 4 goals in last 3 Chelsea games I've visited. Just thought you'd like to know. Alright you dont, I'm sorry.
  15. Didier Drogba

quote:Originally posted by Bazzabluequote:Originally posted by dooberAlright, alright. How many has Ruud scored this season for United, 8 goals in all comps is it? How many does Drogba have this season? 8 in all comps! id="quote"> id="quote">Who cares about Van Nis? Given that he plays for a far inferior team, one would expect his goal tally to be fewer. quote:Originally posted by dooberAfter looking at the chance the other night against Betis, Drogba maybe should have kept it down, but on the other hand I thought the pace of the cross gave him little chance-he was always leant too far back. Besides he struck it on his left. That's always a good excuse! id="quote"> id="quote">Give me strength. It wasn't a case of "keeping it down". It was a case of sticking his leg out at the right time. All that was needed was a touch and he fluffed it. As for the pace of the cross, anything slower and the keeper would have got it. A cross is supposed to be hot firmly for God's sake. Do you honestly think he would have scored the goal that Crespo did? id="quote"> id="quote">I do believe he would have scored it. He has scored 1 header already this season-okay only one, but better than none. In fact looking at the goals he has scored for Chelsea he has netted 5 headers out of the 24 goals he has scored in his Chelsea career. Oh and the Ruud comparison. Who has started more games this season? Ruud has started every game for United in all comps-Drogba hasn't for Chelsea. Although you may think that matters little-Drogba has started four fewer than Ruud and has actually scored two as a sub. Think what he may have done had he have started the game? The chance on Wed' night against Betis was not as easy as you say. When looking at the cross, it was already in the air at some speed and with Drogba already being held back, leaning away from the ball. Has he got to virtually twist his whole leg around to tap it with his instep of his left foot? It would have probably ended in the Shed Uppper!
