  1. Official: Eden Hazard Joins Real Madrid

The difference is Hazard is already an established star, not an undeveloped young talent.
  2. Non Chelsea: Premier League

I know this is a sensitive issue, but I am just wondering: Is it racist for a black player to call another black?
  3. Michael Essien

    He can't tackle either.
  4. Non Chelsea: Champions League

    Boateng scored a cracker!
  5. But by holding on to the CPO shares, we can prevent RA from leaving? Is that what you're saying? But if we don't move, aren't we going to be in a financially worse position? Perhaps the most important point. Does Stamford Bridge really define what Chelsea FC is all about? Should we become sentimental or should we move forward?
  6. Non Chelsea: Premier League

They might beat our 100+ goals in a season in this form.. Jaw-dropping.. FTS..
  7. Non Chelsea: Premier League

I've just seen the highlights, and I don't think Man Utd were as good as the scoreline would suggest. Arsenal keeper's positioning is suspect, at least 4 of the goals wouldn't have happened if it were Cech in goal. Arsenal's defence was also all over the place, and easily outmuscled and challenged in the air. Then again, I'm basing my views on a couple of minutes of highlights, I might be completely wrong.
  8. Seems to me like he was really popular among the players as well. :) Potential favourite here.
  9. Agreed. I've always felt that Lamps needed someone to take the playmaking responsibility, for him to up his own game. Mata on the wings will open up play for us. I'm absolutely chuffed by this signing.
  10. Salomon Kalou

+1. Blame the club for not having better alternatives. Not Kalou. He's always willing to prove himself here, he may lack the ability but he should be commended for his professionalism. Those who boo-ed him are a disgrace.
  11. Thibaut Courtois Departs

Anything can happen in the future. Perhaps the club feels that the goalkeepers from the Academy aren't good enough yet, thats why they sign Thibaut. Anyway we can always sell him if we don't need him in the future.
  12. Whatever the excuses are, my point being, to stop blaming the team for Torres's form. Torres is as much to blame, if not more. Since when is it the responsibility of the team to adapt to Torres? Torres should adapt to the team, just like Ramires, just like any other player. He has to earn his right as a top striker. Right now, I even trust Sturridge more than Torres to play as main striker.
  13. So what's your point? If you're using it to somehow defend Torres, you've chosen the wrong player. He cost £23 million less, is about 2 years younger, came from a different league, and scored 4 more cup goals.
  14. I think you will realise that in a football game, all players do get ignored at one point or another. That's how you attack in football. If there's only one football and three options to choose from, aren't two footballers always going to get ignored? The question is whether he puts himself in a position that would make him the obvious/ best point to initiate or continue the attack from. I said free and in space. He's either behind a player, or away from goal thus making a pass to him somewhat harder. Have you wondered, why Dan Sturridge is always being picked out by the team but not Torres? Torres's relies on his blistering pace, but now he can't even depend on that. His opponent either matches his pace (he's supposed to be half-a-step ahead for his pace to be effective), or he is is let down by his poor first touch. How many times have you seen a long ball from the CB to Torres, with him only a defender to beat, but end up failing to do so? The excuses has just got to stop, we have to admit that Fernando is still not back up to speed. Be it a lack of confidence, a loss of form, whatever. Stop blaming the Chelsea team. Agreed completely. The excuses for Fernando are ridiculous sometimes. If we need to pick out a striker perfectly to score a goal, might as well sign me up. Don't get me wrong, I'm a big fan of Fernando (even when he was at Liverpool) and always wanted to see him score in a Chelsea shirt, but his performances have not been good enough. For now, Drogba is still first choice for me.
