  1. Transfer Talk Topic

He reminds me of another little Frenchman we once had.... not Makelele, but Lassana Diarra! Surprised that Diarra is now 31. He had such potential.

I wonder what Pepe was saying to Kanté at the end there...? See you at Real Madrid?!
  3. 14/15 Premiership Champions

Just seen that Fabregas is on nine bookings. If he picks up his tenth before April 11th then he will miss two matches through suspension. We play Southampton, Hull, Stoke and QPR in that time. If he's booked in the QPR match he'd miss both the Manchester United and Arsenal matches.

    26 points to go!
  5. 14/15 Premiership Champions

Well wouldn't it just be lovely for us if City draw those 2 games prior to Saturday 9th May. Hopefully in that time we could take 22 points from our 9 games. My reckoning is that our easiest 12 points would be: Hull (A), Stoke (H), Leicester (A), Crystal Palace (H) Which leaves us needing 10 points from: West Ham (A), Southampton (H), QPR (A), Manchester United (H), Arsenal (A), That would leave the mouth-watering prospect of winning the league at home to Liverpool!
  6. 14/15 Premiership Champions

29 points to go! Dare we begin the countdown?!
  7. I thought his last comments were more telling. When asked about the relegation battle Mourinho mentioned how it looks like it will go to the wire and that's what Mr Scudamore would love. Just like the title race. No-one would be allowed to run away with the league, and similarly Liverpool were awarded numerous penalties in the run-in last year to ensure the race went to the wire.
  8. It's certainly an interesting one. What sort of dynamic is involved with the boardroom/committee? Does everyone have equal say or is the manager's input held slightly higher/lower than other non-coaching advisers? With the departure of the senior players and knowing that Mourinho thinks that having seniors/experience is vital from a psychological view point, could this also have implications on the goalkeeping decision to be made (will Petr Cech staying as a senior figure now be considered essential)?
  9. Official: Juan Mata Leaves For Man United

I've got him down as: 101 starts, 31 goals and 55 assists. This season: 18 goals and 28 assists in his 44 starts.
  10. Official: Juan Mata Leaves For Man United

I believe they read as follows: 91 appearances, 29 goals and 47 assists. This season: 17 goals and 21 assists in his 34 starts.
  11. Non Chelsea: Champions League

The draw was identical to the rehearsal:

  13. He remains one of my favourite strikers of the recent era. I was delighted the day we signed him. Such a joy to watch whenever he played, purely for his knowledge of his position. It always seemed that whenever he was flagged offside, he had in fact timed his run to absolute perfection!
  14. Official: Juan Mata Leaves For Man United

So are his exact stats, 65 games, 20 goals and 31 assists? I know he's second or third in Europe for chances created, and these would be immensely improved by working with a clinical striker but what are the exact numbers? This is purely for 'fanboy stato' knowledge.
  15. Non Chelsea: Premier League

Dembele, Sandro, Willian & Sigurdsson could be a handy midfield. Similarly Sahin & Lucas Leiva could form a good pairing. Cazorla, Arteta, Wilshere also. Tiote & Cabaye from last season we already know about. Some above average midfields shaping up at our rivals.
