  1. I'm fine with the Azpi thing, to be honest despite having a promising run in the first team under Robbie, Bertrand hasn't played even close to a high enough level to what we need. He's a useful squad player, but Azpi has done a much better job filling in at left back in my opinion. The Mata thing, however, is just utterly unacceptable. It's not like he's been poor this season either, in the little game time he has had, he's done well, and argueably has made more of an impact than other players in that position have when he's had the game time (Oscar aside, who has been great but possibly needs a rest tomorrow)
  2. Non Chelsea: Premier League

Adkins has done brilliantly with Southampton - they're mostly playing good football and have been unlucky with their results. Them getting rid of Adkins would be almost as unjust as us getting rid of Robbie tbh. I'm not sure the fans would welcome the move either.
  3. Following Chelsea's Loans

Many thanks zoric for your updates, very interested in his progress!
  4. Non Chelsea: Premier League

Wow, what a match! And yeah Blackburn were superb on the break, Arsenal looked frail though, very frail
  5. http://www.skysports.com/story/0,,11668_7166034,00.html Hmm. Hope this turns out to be one of those interviews that never actually happened....
  6. Following Chelsea's Loans

    Was on SSN
  7. Josh Mc Eachran

Interesting tweet from Jack Wilshere: Don't understand why Chelsea brought Mata when they have a player like Josh Mceachran in the squad! Class player #justsaying I (of course) know they will be playing different positions, but I think Wilshere actually has a point in that Josh should be getting more game time with us.
  8. Chelsea Reserve & Youth Team

I can see where you're coming from Juni, but I can't see a few people from here discussing his prospects as having a big impact on the kid's career. I think it's good we have another young player to get excited about.
  9. Non Chelsea: Premier League

I'm absolutely ****ing gutted we didn't get Aguero, was as soon as I saw City sign him, but have to say I think I'd still probably prefer to have Torres given the choice (hope I don't regret these words!)
  10. Salomon Kalou

As much as I love Kalou (he's one of my girlfriend's favourite players too) I have to say I found him utterly frustrating the other day... but I do still think he was more effective than Malouda. Not a nice thought in some ways, but I really think we need to bring in someone to step into the first team into the position(s) just behind the strikers now, since I'm not sure if we're going to be really competing for the title and the CL that maybe we're better off certainly with the likes of Kalou in particular, just coming on from the bench and not starting matches regularly...
  11. Non Chelsea: International Football

****ing hell, incredible goal! Thanks for the analysis too Bouncy, appreciate it :)
  12. Salomon Kalou

Most of Kalou's 142 league games are substitute appearances too, which makes his record more impressive.
  13. Didier Drogba

Even allowing for the malaria, and the fact he lost his position on quite a few occasions to Torres, Drogba was still involved in more goals last season than any other player with 12 goals and an immense 16 assists. So despite having a 'poor' season plagued by illness and other factors, he still had a massive impact on our season. If he's fully fit, I don't doubt for a second his impact could be even greater next season.
  14. Non Chelsea: International Football

Not international football but I don't know where to put this, what a goal!
  15. Non Chelsea: Premier League

Wayne Rooney has had a hair transplant :D fair play to him I guess
