  1. CFC Offer To Buy Back CPO Shares. Stadium Move On The Cards?

Hope you'll all be glad to wake up and see us across the back page of The Sun in the morning. Those kindly fellows have sorted out the matter of where all those shares that were bought on the eve of the vote went... http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/4070834/SunSport-investigation-The-share-dealings-that-raise-serious-questions-for-Chelsea.html and... http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/4070750/SunSport-investigation-Chelsea-fans-suspicion-over-CPO-share-riddle.html
  2. New Kits

Some shots of the third kit in action here: http://www.footballkitnews.com/3340/new-chelsea-third-kit-11-12-cfc-shirt-2011-2012-white/ It does indeed look better on the players than in the previews, despite looking a bit rottenham. I quite like it in the second shot, so errr... our players will look good when hobbling off the pitch.
  3. Ashley Cole

Judge for yourself how good Dorigo was... It's crazy that we sold him, Tommy Boyd and Le Saux is the space of three years. All three went on to win the league with the clubs we sold him to. And people say there's instability at the club now! One of Campbell, Porterfield or Webb would've likely found cause to fall out with or not rate Ashey Cole.
  4. New Kits

I love the 'hoops', reminiscent of the classic 83/85 le coq shirt. I just wish the white stripes on the shoulders would either run the length of the sleeve or end on top of the shoulder, as opposed to ending apparently arbitrarily. Anyone else think that in that video, in some of the head and shoulder shots of the players, the shirt looks looks like a blue version of the gooners' 90/92 shirt?
  5. New Kits

Incredibly touching afterthought more like. How many fans across the country see the red on our current shirt and think of the Pensioners? It'd be far better if the club made more of 'The Pensioners' nickname, rather than the unimaginative 'The Blues'. The Pensioners would be better served by people being reminded of their existence every time someone reads our nickname in the press or hears it sung in chant, than by a bit of trim on the kit which most presume is just a design feature. Yeah I know, this was a debate for 12 months ago, but it still irks me.
  6. New Kits

Ha, yeah. Citeh somehow got away with that on their white away kit with the red and black sash, but I know what you mean, no chance of that happening on our home kit!
  7. New Kits

Haha, I like the optimism in putting the gold premier league badges on there. Seriously though, that's a great design. When I read 'mock up for a fantasy kit', I thought 'oh God, here we go', but you've actually managed to design pretty exactly what I would want. The old trefoil, the stand alone lion, the stripes, collar, cuffs and fit - simple but beautiful. Would most fans not prefer an 'adidas originals' style kit like this?
  8. Official: Torres Makes Milan Move Permanent

If he gets the No.9 shirt, and Luiz the No.4, we'll almost have players 1-11 wearing the proper numbers for their positions. No more defenders in forwards' numbers!
  9. New Kits

A bit of Red on the home kit, a possible green away kit, what next? Bobby Campbell to take over the running of the first team? Btw, that Rangers home kit is beautiful, looks like a Chelsea shirt form the 50s. It seems to be made out of the same fabric as the England and Republic of Ireland home shirts too. God I'm jealous!
  10. New Kits

I knew that shirt reminded me of something and then it clicked... http://www.oldfootballshirts.com/img/seaso...87-s_2698_1.jpg It looks like they've ripped off an old Umbro design from 1986; the shape of the collar, the horizontal stripes on the body. That could have been a nice design but who sat down and thought 'what this shirt needs is some fluro yellow trim all over it'? Post-modern appropriation gone wrong.
  11. Didier Drogba

Drogba gets upset and throws the book back where it came from
