  1. New Kits

I ain't buying any kits this season. Fed up forking out £40 for them to only last one season, all football wants to do is rip off the fans at every opportunity so they can line the pockets of the players.
  2. New Kits

I've just got an email from Chelsea Megastore regarding the release of the new 09/10 home kit? The current home kit has only been in use for one season, this is a disgrace. The divide between Clubs & players and the fans really is widening by the minute. There is no way I'll be buying this new home kit, no way!
  3. New Kits

Bring back the collar I say.
  4. New Kits

I remember Celtic came out with a top similar to the colour of our new away shirt. It was extremely popular but because it had black strips with it, they were nicknamed the 'bubble bee's'. I just ordered the new away shirt, bloody hope it's here for the weekend though. Got J. Cole on the back.
  5. Frank Arnesen

They maybe like to provoke reactions such as yours? Plus, if everybody had the same views, opinions and thinking patterns, it wouldn't be much of a forum would it?
  6. Frank Arnesen

Pretty good article in my opinion. Personally, I've always queried Mr Arnesen's role at the club. For exmaple- During Chelsea's recent TV shows of recruiting an uncontracted young talent (and obviously investing a lot of time, money and resources), I think he was seen on them once or twice. If he isn't going to be haevily involved with soemthing such as those projects, what else is he doing? The poster is obviously over the top with his wishes of Arnesen out, but I think Mr Samuel puts his point across rather well.
  7. Ashley Cole

In fairness to A Cole, that is a very simplified version of why he left. A Cole left due to a lack of pro-longed respect from Arsenal not because of 5k. If we didn't have all the money in the world like we fortuntely do now, we wouldn't be able to afford JT's wages especially so early in his career. JT has no reason to leave, he has been given all the money he could ever wish for and more by Chelsea, completely the opposite story for A Cole at Arsenal.
  8. New Kits

I love Barceloan's style for away kits. Last year was bright luminous and this year bright orange.
  9. New Kits

We need a third kit regardless if we are in Europe or not.
  10. New Kits

Put it like this, if Chelsea plan to play CL home games with this 3rd kit, then they'll have to rename the home kit to "Domestic Games Home Kit" lol

quote:Originally posted by Grahame FendleWhy is it so extreme? I don't understand. At least it has blue piping, which the last change strip never had. Actually, what I really don't understand is why people get so worked up about it. Moan about the home kit because it's a templated Adidas design, moan about anything, really. Might be more appropriate if people moaned about the declining quality of the merchandise on offer from official sources. Anyway, if people don't like it, they don't have to buy it. Bit like tickets really. id="quote"> id="quote">Sounds like the only person getting worked up is yourself Grahame. Ohh, and continuing with your theme, if you don't like the topic, don't post in it. My guess on the European Kit is that it'll be used for all CL away games but the home kit will continue to be used at SB. The Kit looks ok, much preferred the baby/ light blue kit from last season though.
  12. New Kits

Are all 3 pre season games on Chelsea TV?
  13. New Kits

Another day, another Chelsea rip-off! Can you imagine the money grabbing pig’s smiles when they knew they had an excuse to bring out a new home kit two seasons in a row because of our clubs centenary? Management Number One- I've got an idea guys, we'll bring out a 'special' centenary shirt just for the one year, then bring out another home shirt for the next season" Management Number Two- "ohh, I'm not sure, that's like ripping our fans off especially when they've paid extortionate match tickets for soo many years?" Management Number One- "That's exactly why we should do it, because they're used to being ripped off by now hehe" Management Number One- "Your soo right, silly me, must have been the champagne I had at breakfast"
  14. Chelsea Finances Thread

    > "which whilst Blue tinted, was fairly balanced and knowledgable" It is a Chelsea fans website run and managed by Chelsea fans, you could hardly expect anything but slightly blue tinted. In regards to your post, I agree with some of the points, I too would like Chelsea to be the best club in England speaning £2 a season on transfers, but it aint going to happen! Yes we spend more money than the rest, but we certainly aren't the only club who spend big. Take Arsenal for example, who according to the press can only afford to buy cheap players and groom them into superstars but yet they are able to spend £17 million on a younster who has never played a minute in the Premiership and only 9'ish games in the old Div. One and pay at least £12 million for a flop just recently. If Chelsea payed this money for Theo, it would be the same garbish- "Only Chelsea could afford to gamble £17 million on an untried yougster".
  15. John Terry

To be honest, I think our mighty captain would have to start playing in the reserves mid week and the first team at the weekends if he wants to beat that "HUGE" record. Although, the fact that Terry is even thinking about it warms my heart. Chelsea through and through, you just can't buy that! Yippeeee!
