Villa usually give us a tough time, lets hope we find our 4 goal form, and lets hope it hasn't reverted to a 2-0 form...

I'm going to watch the Liverpool game now, with one eye at least. And then Arsenal is playing an in-form West Ham at the same time as our Villa match. I'd love to see our competitors lose points again.

Strangely enough, I'm not that nervous for our match today. We had a very good performance against Charlton, and I think our team is beginning to 'click' more now. Our attacking game is more fluid than before. The midfield is looking good, with the energetic Essien showing real presence and fighting spirit, even providing assists, a very reliable Maka and perhaps we're also seeing an improving Lamps. Our attack will be even better with Lampard in top form. And our defence, well, nothing more to say about it really, perhaps it's the best defence in English football history. Saying that, I'm sure we'll concede three in this game, as I've jinxed it for us, lol

Up front I'm wondering who will get to start this time. Personally I'd like to see SWP - Drogba - Robben, but I'm sure both main strikers and all four wingers will get their opportunity in this game, like normal. Only an injury would persuade JM to sub in a midfielder or defender I guess.

I've just seen the first half of the Pool game, and I understand perfectly why everyone is pointing their finger at us for boring play. We're the most-scoring team, but come on, the tons of chances in some of these other matches are making us look bad. It's been end to end stuff in the Birmingham-Liverpool match, fluid, flowing football, chances are created constantly, Crouch lively, true width in the team, play-makers in every position. This is what the Premier League is all about really. Best game I've seen so far.

NOT!
