Excellent display could have scored more we have several more dimensions in this 4-4-2 diamond formation. Another clean sheet, Lamps played some great ball, imposed himself, great passes, and even vision. Gudjohnson played very well in the 2nd striker role, showed how much he is missed. Joe Cole and Damien Duff were thorns in the side fo Manchester City. Drogba was MOTM awesome first goal, but second goal will be the talk of the british press. Keep this 4-4-2 up cause I love it! Go Blues!

Good match. Drogba was great, apart from the handball and that one dive. Del Horno played magnificient in the first 15 minutes, linking up well with Duff for the attack. The team did not let up the chase for goals, with Drogba and Crespo working quite fantastically together in the 75th minute onwards.

Notes:

1)Did you see in the 67th minute, Mourinho was shouting at the players, telling them to play it low and stop the handballs? He looked quite disgusted.

2)The player who Joe Cole fouled and got the yellow card (Was it Danny Mills?) seemed to protest to the ref not to give Cole the yellow card. That's the first time I've ever seen that happen.

Yeah. Definately loving this new formation. Guddy and Drog combo is unstopabble!

Anyway great performance overall. Citeh didn't look threatening at all anyway because of the absence of their key players who are down with injury, so if Samaras, Cole , Barton and others played today it could be different.

Anyway another three points is in the bag and a step closer to the title. End of story!
