It was pretty ugly. Which is out of character for this fixture. erm...

We need to buy a defender or three.

Apart from a nice delivery for the goal, Frank was dissapointing.

Sheva looked unsurprisingly good.

Essien did well.

Robben was poor.

Bridge was poor.

Ferreira was poor.

Well, some good moments but far too much long ball to forwards (Shev, Kalou and Robben) who like the ball into feet.

The bigger picture looks bad. Including last seasons two last games and the four played so far this preseason we have won 1, drawn 1 and lost 4. That is simply not good enough, no matter how many Mourinho excuses you can throw at me!

Agreed - tbis is getting embarassing. We can't beat a Liverpool 2nd team when we're nearly full strength, Celtic, or DC Allstars, and only managed to scrape past Feyenoord... this will be a season to behold, for sure.

The commentators on Radio 5 are appaling. Is there a phobia for all things Chelsea? Is this what we can expect for the next 9 months? Listened to the game, didn't sound too good.

The players faded in the second half, notably Kalou. Essien lost his sparkle after his injury. Slowly but surely 'Pool took control of the midfield. We defended terribly, allowing too much space and time for Bellamy to get to the ball and then cross for Crotch to score. Fitness seems to be the priority right now.
