Poked my head into Niketown in London the other day - got to say I really like the kits.  I might invest in the home shirt to tide me over for a good while on that front.  I like all of the posters and stuff promoting them too - Oxford Circus tube station was literally full of giant posters of our new kit today.  Love that.

My only slight criticism is that I'm hoping Nike produce some nicer hoodies & tees soon as I'm much more likely to wear that sort of thing with some reasonably subtle branding on them.  At the moment, everything seems to be about massive, gaudy logos and writing.  Not really into that myself.

The energy drink logo is horrific. Everything else is good.

I picked up the Vapor kit on Monday - a million times better than the replica version I tried on.

Well worth the extra outlay.

Not bowled over by next season’s home kit by any stretch. Dear me.

Suffice it to say I won't be buying this year's home kit. Nothing to do with how the team is performing..... It's just hideous.

Personally I quite like it. It's simple with a bit of detail. Simple but yet it's quite different to anything else. Feels like I might be in the minority though.

I still won't buy it though, £52 is too much for a replica shirt I won't wear very often. I'll stick to my retro shirts.

Sorry, MBiB, I think you are. It's truly horrid. Stripes trying to echo le Coq Sportif in 83-4. And failing.

An overreaction I know but , it just seems symptomatic of the club at the moment , it just feels like we've all given up.

It's not that bad. Hideous and horrid? There have been a lot worse in my opinion. I know that beauty is in the eye of the beholder but I've never liked any of the kits from the 80s and 90s, big  and baggy with horrible patterns. This new one isn't as good as the last one (the first one I've bought in years) but it's not bad at all.

You're not on your own MbiB.
