Don't think much of the new home kit, very uninspiring and just looks dull and boring.

If that yellow kit is for real is really nice, will look great on the pitch.

Popped into Niketown in London last night and took a look at some of the Chelsea stuff.  Some nice enough bits in there, but still struggling to understand why there is red on everything.  It just irks me.

Some of the track jackets and such were cool - the home shirt is awful though.

On one hand I'm glad the Man City, Spurs etc and Chelsea kits aren't identical this year, with Adidas there was always a lot more variation. However the gimmick of putting those red and white stripes across our shirt is just ghastly.

What I'd like to know is who it is at the club that ok's these kits with red all over them? And some of the dire away kits we've had over the years.

I think they're an homage of sorts  to the Le Coq kit that the likes of Pat Nevin and Kerry Dixon wore with thin red and white hoops over two tone blue ones which was about a billion times nicer than the new one which looks like a coach seat .

We've had red away kits in the past too .

The away kit was red as well - the horror !

Seems to me that not only is red an unsuitable colour for Chelsea Football Club, we also tend to have poor seasons when it is involved (or at least we don't win anything anyway).

Basically, it needs to go.  Blue, white and the odd bit of yellow the only acceptable colours for our home kits.  The club need to get with the programme there.
