Jon_Doyle Report post Posted August 20, 2007 Rogue Wave - Eyes is a cracking little song!Heard it on the Heroes soundtrack the other night also.Yep I heard it on Heroes too. My brother got listening to some of their other songs and 'introduced' me to them.Mr Doyle you have a great taste in music. You likewise! :) I get a bit of stick for liking some of more obscure bands but they are better than the mainstream crap like Take That or Mika. Bands like Milburn should get more publicity than they currently get. IMO, they are BETTER than the Arctic Monkeys.

Jon_Doyle Report post Posted August 21, 2007 Is it true NME only gave 'An End Has a Start' 6 out of 10!?!?It's clearly the best album of the year so far IMO. It is haunting, thought provoking, serious music. It may be about depressing things but they manage to make the songs uplifting and euphoric. Every song is an epic, there's no Duff numbers in there. Also Tom Smith's voice is something else.
Matt Connellan Report post Posted August 22, 2007 RE The Shins. I certainly preferred "Oh, Inverted World" and "Chutes Too Narrow" to "Wincing the Night Away" which I found boring by comparsion. My two cents...
