Just heard Dan Le Sac vs Scroobius Pip 'Thou Shalt Always Kill'. Have no idea if it was a hit there in the UK, and it was complete luck I heard it (a student theatre play played it in the intermission), but I absolutely love this song. Can't get it out of my head.

I've never heard it since 5 minutes ago but that ain't saying much. I wouldn't know if it had been on the radio because I rarely listen to it. Too much crap clogging the stations up so I listen to my own CD's or whatever.

Aye. Wikipedia does say it reached #30 in the UK charts, so hit isn't the right word.

The whole song is a full of irony. One minute he says not to take the names of a few guys in vain (right after saying not to worship pop idols), and later on he says not to put bands in ridiculous pedestals.
