Reel Report post Posted August 31, 2008 Just to annoy Jon a little more, I will be seeing Sigur Ros this weekend.Reel. Which part of Cali are you from my good man? I'm coming over to Coachella Valley next April, you ever been?I'm in the central valley, by a place called fresno. That puts me just about in the middle of the whole state and in between LA and SF. I'm 2 hours from the coast, 3 and a half hours from LA and SF. All that is here is agriculture and its is pretty ******. I've never been to Coachella, but I want to go sometime, it seems like the line up gets better every year.

nona_valente Report post Posted September 5, 2008 Anyone listening to the new Kings of Leon singles? Manhattan is excellent, and is a massive hit waiting to happen.SoF is quite good. Still need to listen to Manhattan more.I'm listening to no new songs, but some released earlier on which I haven't heard before:Light For The Deadvine by People In Planes (heard it on House, love it) by V.A.S.T. Running up that hill cover by PlaceboAnd I quite enjoy a few bhangra songs. Thing is, I never quite know much about it or singers (or the language, obviously), but I find it excellent:Babe Bhangra Pounde Ne Gurdas Maan And, my somewhat embarrassing song(s) I'm really liking (always need one...):Misery Buisness Paramore Crushcrushcrush Paramore
Harvz Report post Posted September 5, 2008 Light For The Deadvine by People In Planes (heard it on House, love it) by V.A.S.T.These two are excellent! And I'm guilty of liking one or two Paramore songs too ;) Funny that, because I don't like that genre normally.
Litchy Report post Posted September 5, 2008 Anyone listening to the new Kings of Leon singles? Manhattan is excellent, and is a massive hit waiting to happen.I hadn't heard Manhattan before then, and it sounds ok. Sex on Fire is a brilliant song, it hooked me as soon as I heard it. They've also released Crawl, which is very good in my opinion. Can't wait for the new album, I like everything these guys do!
