Time for some Youth Football Fantasy teams I suppose. :)

Rotations are necessary and it'll be interesting to see the lineup LFS plays. I'd expect the likes of Sinclair, Di Santo and Stoch atleast to get some time on the pitch.

My prefered lineup:

Cudicini

Ferreira - Ivanovic - Terry - Bridge

Belletti - Mineiro - Lampard

Deco

Di Santo - Kalou

Subs: Cech, Alex, Sinclair, Ferreira, Stoch, Drogba, J.Cole/Malouda

Our regulars should be given the day off as this is the Carling cup and our 2nd strings and reserves players should be able to handle Burnley. So no Lampard, JT, Bosignwa, Mikel, Malouda, Anelka with Drogba, Joe Cole, Deco and Ballack if he is fit by then to use the game that should be relatively easy to get some match fitness.

With Felipe changing the formation to a 4-4-2 dimaond that we used in the early games of this season

Cudicini

Ferreira - Ivanovic - Alex - Bridge

Belletti - Mineiro - Ballack

Deco

Drogba - Cole

Subs: Hilario, then fill the remaining 6 spots with kids.

I would rest Terry and Lampard why risk them for?

Does anybody still care about the carling cup wouldn't bother me if we got knocked out we have bigger fish to catch in the sea.

I want us to win everything, even the minor competitions.

Cudicini

Ferrier----Ivanovic---Alex----Bridge

--Belleti

---Lamps--Deco

--J.Cole----------------Sinclair

----Di Santo

I really dont hink we should leave both Lamps and JT out. With all these players who have never played together before we need some leadership and quality to steady the ship and see the game through. Otherwise I think it would be alot easier for Burnley than we all thought.

Carlo

Paulo Ivanovich Alex Bridge

Sinclair Deco Minero J.Cole

Drogba Di Santo

I think Di santo playing up top with Drogs would help his learning and also he can play more with his feet then keep having to win it in the air.

If that team fails (very doubtful) id have a star studied sub bench of:

Cech, JT, Bosingwa, Lampard, Mikel, Kalou, Anelka.

Anyone know any pre-match chanting/drink up? Or is it the usual So Bar?

I'd def leave JT in there. If Riccy was playing I'd say we could rest him, but we need an anchor in defense I reckon. It'll be telling of Big Phil's blooding policy whether he plays a second string side or not. He didn't the previous cup game if I remember correctly, but that was his first one. Either way, it should be a comfortable win.
