Liverpool cock it up again - I certainly trust in Rafa!!! Birmingham must be disappointed not to have come away with all three points against that shower of shite.

Liverppol 2-2 at home to Birmingham City. Sinking to a new low?

Oh and that dive by Ngog for Liverpool's equalizing penalty. Surely he has to get punished for that? Eduardo's was no worse.

1 win in 9 for them now, what for that this is going to be our year??!

lol..

Diving Ngog stopped them from complete embarrassment but it's still 2 points dropped. I'm off to put a pound on Liverpool to get relegated! :D

The public flogging and humiliation was probably enough. He's tagged for life now as a diver. He should have got a three game ban though.

Can't wait for that divers league to be dusted off and used again. After Torres the other week, it was Ngog tonight - the audacity of HIS dive also meant that Gerrards later attempt went pretty much unmentioned (as usual).

Shocking team, shocking coach, shocking cheats.

Nope. And diving never will be. Mainly because it happens all the time, but also because when players allow there legs to go and then contact is made, which often happens when keepers slide out and give pens away, is technically a penalty even though the player just allows himself to fall into the player. Carsley's tackle was pretty wreckless but Ngog could have not lifted his legs as high and just made sure he touched him as he was going down, same thing but does it mean it isn't a pen?

Well, it certainly means Ngogs wasn't a penalty doesn't it. All you're saying is that he cheated, but his execution was poor.

There IS the possibility of using the "I felt threatened" line that is popular in those pars I guess. But what a measured response from a team that whinged til the cows came home a while back after a Chelsea penalty.

Bottom line? 2:2 at home to a Birmingham side struggling against relegation and with Ridgewell playing at left back is not good enough for any team fighting for a top 4 position. In isolation, such a blip can be brushed aside but when taken in the context of the other results this season it's plain to see that there are massive cracks appearing at Anfield. Love the Rafa line that the penalty was justified because Liverpool had lots of posession - is he drowning or waving?
