An easy victory in a largely pointless game which served as a warm up for the proper games this week (Boro/Pool). Only concern is the churn we're having at centreback, obviously Alex isn't very good but he could do better with a more regular partner. Made to look particularly bad by the fact that the 3rd centreback, Mikel, was changed for Belletti today.

Commentators used to say we had scorelines that flattered us almost every game under Jose, always forgetting the chances we miss.

Only listened to the match on the radio, but for me it's Ballack with the two goals. I'm dying to see the two free-kicks scored today, as we don't score as many as I'd like to see, but 2 against a keeper that apparently played a blinder, sounds very good. Lamps' sounded like an absolute stunner.

Wouldn't mind Swansea in the next round BTW.

Poor Ballack. First time this season he can get MOM and too many have vote did not watch:(. 3-1 is okay. We scored two freekicks in the same match. Can`t remember the last time we did that. Good to se Ballack having a good day and with the Fulham goal in mind, Lampard is starting to score from freekicks again. brilliant. Hope we get a good PL opponent in the next round. So that we focus from the start and don`t get over confident. If any club should know about upsets it should be us. It would actually be an upset if we won 5-0 against an Ipswich like side!
