Don't Understand This

Last night everyone in the Shed and MHL stood, it looked great and made such a difference for the atmosphere...so why can't we do it on normal home games? Why do people listen to the stewards when we play in the Prem but not on weekday games? Really don't get it

Totally agree. No reason why we can't do this every game. We should be doing it every game. We don't go there because of Barcelona or Liverpool, we go there because of Chelsea, against whomever.

There was booze and smoking in the MHL and we were on our feet for the entire game. I think it's to do with the lack of kids at midweek games. It was an awesome night at the bridge, just gutted the way it all had to end.

No mass exodus for beer helped . amazing atmosphere only can dream of what level it would have gone up to if we had held on. A spurs mate texted me and said 'it sounded brilliant'.

To anyone that watched the game on the tv did sky mention the atmosphere or was it a non event as per normal.

No they didn't, buy why would they? I didn't hear Barca fans singing once.

the reason why they let people stand for the champions league games in the MHL is because the back rows are empty and therefore nobody has a restricted view

That doesn't explain the Shed End, or people doing the Bouncy in the East Upper though, does it?

They need to steward this stuff with a little more consistency, or it makes the club's stance look stupid.

Mark Lawrenson on Five Live had a go, saying that it was 'flat' followed by the obligatory plastic flag jibe, but then to his credit - a few minutes later, he said that the atmosphere had really picked up.

Still a fool though.

From the Shed, the Bouncy in the MHL looked class last night.
