Following Chelsea's Loans

Watched the first half of Twente's Europa league game against Karabakh.

Rajkovic didn't feature, but Stochy did, playing wide left for a change. If anything, he looked even more dangerous, and what struck me was how closely he hugged the touchline, really extending the opposition defense and making himself available in attack. Due to that, his teammates supplied him with plenty of the ball, and he took defenders on relentlessly, whipping delicious balls into the box, sometimes with the right foot, sometimes with the left.

His cross led to the third goal, and before that he headed one onto the bar. All in all an excellent and forceful performance, albeit against fairly average opposition.

Here are some short highlights:

Coventry have snapped-up highly-rated Chelsea youngster Jack Cork on loan until the end of the year.

Chris Coleman's side are awaiting confirmation from the Football League before including Cork in their squad against Swansea on Saturday.

Two years ago, Cork scored twice against Coventry while on loan at Scunthorpe and his father Alan, was Coventry's reserve team manager when Micky Adams was in managerial hotseat.

Coleman told the club's official website: "This is another excellent addition to the squad and Jack is the second promising young Chelsea player to join our ranks this season.

"He is very highly-regarded at Stamford Bridge and he has already played close to 100 matches while on loan with other Football League clubs so has good experience for his age.

"We are delighted that they have let him come out on loan to us and this is a further sign of what we are trying to achieve at this club."

Hope Cork has a good one.

Jack Cork today (Friday) became Chelsea's latest loanee of this busy summer, joining Patrick van Aanholt at Coventry. Cork will stay with the Championship club until January 31st.

It comes a day after the long-time Chelsea youngster signed a three-year contract to stay with the club, hopefully evidencing their faith that ...

Been watching Stoch closely for quite a while now. I've noticed he is a very good crosser. I hope we keep him for the future.

^ Yes. Will be interesting to see how he does.

As well as how Mancienne copes with the likes of Adebayor, Tevez and Robinho today.

Haven't seen it posted, but highlights of a match earlier in the month between Twente and PSV. Finished 1-1. Rajkovic at leftback, Stoch at right wing:

Edit: If embed isn't working link is here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TxbWQ-bkQ4A

Rajkovic surely has to get ahead of the goons Twente are playing at centreback eventually, he certainly doesn't have a career for us at leftback.

Dszudzak is a player worth keeping an eye on.

See at the 3.30 mark Stoch finding himself racing way back in defensive cover, not sure why.

Mancienne's made a solid start against City, playing up against Adebayor and Tevez coming from deep.

DiSanto's apparently been lively to start against Sunderland.
