Couldn't agree more. Man City home and away will be something the press and oppo fans can beat us with for many years to come.

Giving far too much respect in our team selection against teams we should have destroyed is all on Conte.

Having said that we did play very well against Liverpool at Anfield so I'm not giving up yet.

agree, remember when Arsenal were beaten by us before they even stepped out on the pitch? Now they have become our bogey team.  Hopefully the next manager will instill fear again and the next arsenal manager is not Simeone or Conte

I wanted to put this in the Lampard thread, but it's archived and no new posts can be added. So, given it's an interview in a newspaper, the Media/Press thread seemed the next most obvious place.

Imagine if we were third and Liverpool were fifth, having just beaten us. Imagine if Liverpool could go into the final game of the season level on points with us and we were struggling for form in the league.

What do you think the press would say and don’t you think they’d be screaming it from the rooftops?

Spurs have won two of their last six against Newcastle one of their last five against Leicester.

True - but since both have been safe for a while, Newcastle have lost 3 in 3 and Leicester got one point in their 5 games post March.

They are playing beach football in their heads.  Whereas Huddersfield, who we play mid week just drew at City and 4th from bottom might well be relegated if they lose to us.

They can't be relegated tomorrow, whatever happens.

Well done the Chelsea ladies for winning the double. One game to go in the premier league and still unbeaten too.
