Desperate to go to this one, always like to do at least one euro away....even though the group'll be on by then and our reserves will get a beating.

Has anyone found any cheap way of getting there? Reckon train or plane is cheaper? Really can't find anything cheap, even indirect flights.....and they'll charge £50 for a match ticket....

Any help appreciated

We're flying into Lyon and getting the train which is costing us £68 all in. Easy

Flying direct is pricey.

That's quality! How did you manage that?

Doing the exact same! Flying out to Lyon Tues night, then back on Thurs. The train aint cheap though, the cheapest I could find was £44 return on the TGV. Where did you get yours from?

Some Marseille fans not happy at the Bridge would welcome the desire for revenge ... Should be noted that these fans do not respect anything.

Considering how badly they behaved at the Bridge anyone goin gto Marseille should be carefull.

On a sidenote, how the FUKC could the London police let the Marseille fans walk freely in the area without an escort? There were big groups walking around throwing bottles etc at cars and ppl after and before the game. Police just stood there saying they could do nothing as there were too many Marseille fans (surely not more than 3k) yet they can treat us as cattle when we're doing West Ham or Spurs away?

Absolute joke.

Considering how we get treated abroad I dont think the way we get treated at west ham or spurs is to bad at all. Marseille as football supporters are nothing to worry about compared to half the places we go, just your average european away. The city itself is what to worry about. Pickpockets, muggers, groups of dirty greasy french africans etcetc.

Hi andy my names Howard I live in maidenhead and drink in the bell pub opposite the station I will be going by eurostar £119 return here's my number if you want to get in touch 07733555874 cheers. By the way the train station in marseille is 10 mins from the ground by metro I can also get cheap digs for 2 nites no cab fares to airports here or in marseille. Hope we get a good turnout as being a port there is always trouble there as I know when I was there for france 98 and the last time chelsea played there in 1999.
