Source: Blues to demand tricky winger as part of defender deal?

It is being reported in the Italian press that Juventus are very keen to sign Chelsea’s Brazilian central defender Alex. In response the Blues have also shown a willingness to do business with the Bianconeri ‘if” the Italians are willing to consider Alex and cash for their highly rated midfielder/winger Milos Krasic. Juventus will not want to lose Krasic but may be tempted because of their deep desire to acquire the services of central defensive rock Alex.

Milos Krasic had a very influential and excellent first season for Juve last term and has quickly become a fans favourite with the famous old Serie A club. Formerly with CSKA Moscow, the 6’1″ Serbian International is already being likened to another former Juventus great Pavel Nedved.

At 26-years-old Krasic is fast approaching his prime and plays right midfield or on the wing. He is very quick and with a tremendous shot on him he is not only a regular goal scorer but his assist statistics are very impressive. Being a strong running dribbler of the ball with natural attacking instincts Krasic is certainly the type of player AVB would be very interested in and would make a fabulous addition to the Chelsea first team squad.

Massive fan of Alex but would be a good deal for Chelsea as we need a good right winger.

If not Chelsea sometimes make decisions like crazy people, Chelsea should have been in for him instead of Zhirkov, seeing as they were rated at about the same price and unlike Zhirkov, he plays in a position we need a player in.

If it's being reported in the Italian press then please offer the actual source. What's offered is flat out conjecture. Also, there is no way in hell that Juve would let Krasic go: he is by far their best player.

Got almost 10-12 RT's of this article. Anyone found the actual Italian source quoted?

It is hard to see Krasic being sold, Juve ultras will replicate North London scenes

Yeah, can't see Juventus letting Krasic go at all. He had a mixed first season there, but they've invested heavily in him and by all accounts have high hopes that he'll prove his worth this season. Juventus have got a bloody good side together, just about to move into a new stadium. They're very much on their way back and I'm not even sure why Krasic would necessarily want to leave a club like Juve to join Chelsea to be honest.

ish

krasic in the first half of last season was immense but faded greatly. decent player, not super fast but fast enough, good feet and good crossing. big issue is I like alex. also the player trade transfers rarely ever go through.

I'd like Krasic, but I really don't want Alex to leave so I'm hoping this isn't true.

Exactly my thoughts. Alex is brilliant. Hope we get him but I don't see this transfer happening.
