James Bond Films Of Sky

Am I a Sad Git or are there more of you? I'm like a kid in a sweet shop. Granted, they are not all good and some look very dated, but damn.

Have to say that Daniel Craig is by far the best Bond. He is now more like an assassin, cold, ruthless,a cold blooded killer.

And some of the stunts are totally out there. The crane scene in Casino Royale using the free runners has got to be one of the best ever.

Really?? Not for me at all. I agree that he carries off the cold-blooded assassin side of the character very well but I just don't see him as Bond to be honest, doesn't have much character IMO.

I always liked Timothy Dalton as Bond - thought he played the role fairly faithfully to the books. Connery is probably the best long serving Bond there's been.

Moore is my least favourite - purely because of the campness of the stories back in the 70-80's. Some of the driving stunts in them are awesome though.

I love Sean Connery as James Bond, his portrayal is classic.

The cheekiness, the cheesiness, the sexism and all other factors make his movies the most fun for me, that is of course if one doesn't take all of this too seriously.(***** galore, man talk etc etc)

Don't think any other actor has portrayed that unbeatable aura and charisma so well, Craig comes close though albeit in a different manner.

Connery's got to be the best for me.

I like Craig and Brosnan as well though. 'GoldenEye' is one of my favourites. Love those early Connery era films though.

Brosnan is the best all-rounder and I think his first two (Goldeneye and Tomorrow Never Dies) are the best ever Bond films.

Craig's fine - I understand their need to move on and make each new Bond different but I think Brosnan's films celebrated the heritage of Bond whilst simultaneously gave the series new life in the 90s. Craig's bond is too cold and clinical.

Still, some of the Connery/Dalton movies are great.

Craig and Brosnan for me. Brosnan does the comedy brilliantly (and he was fantastic as the romantic charmer in Mrs Doubtfire). He out Roger Moored Roger Moore.

Goldeneye and Casino Royale are my favourites by a distance. The tank chase scene, card game and airport scene stand out for me. I hope Skyfall uses the "James Bond music" occasionally, I was very disappointed that Quantum Of Solace didn't use it at all.
