Anyone else would have been sacked. The club must know that we have been way too slavish in following the FFP rules when no-one else has.

They need to accept that one year outta the CL won't be so bad. Give Jose a f**k ton of cash to rebuild the team in his vision, I'm talking proper money not money based on sales, and we will win it next season.

The club need to stick together and back Jose. No one else will do any better long-term (or even short term) and we just have to write the season off and fight together to get as high up in the league as we can.

Come on Chelsea!! #cfc #alltheway

This. And particularly the bolded stuff.

Getting criticised for selling X, Y and Z when the club have been so obviously balancing the books. Trying to run a big club like a small club and being surprised when it doesn't work perfectly. Nothing wrong with it as a long-term plan (and I broadly support it TBH), but long-term plans don't bring instant and constant success. Peaks and troughs are to be expected when you run a club like that (£35m of sales this summer, £80m last year, £50m the year before), although TBF this trough is pretty bad, far worse than you would expect (although IMO it's been somewhat cruel on the team, despite our deficiencies this season).

In a way we have nothing to lose now. No title to play for, top 4 only a hope - possible but only a hope. The squad as it is won the title by a mile last year and I refuse to believe we are suddenly this bad.

Something is up. Players aren't turning up for Jose. We aren't pressing with intensity. There is no energy in the team. We aren't fighting. All the players bar Willian and maybe Ramires are in awful form, and low on confidence. Jose is losing it tactically too, getting outsmarted every single week.

I do think we need players. We need not just quality players, but leaders. We need young hungry quality players who are leaders like Lamps, Drogs & JT were 10 years ago. Stones is one, for sure. When we sign players we need to look at character not just talent. There are too few leaders in this team.

But yes, players like Stones, Griezzman, Van Der Weil. The guy we were linked with from Shaktar. And another top striker to compete with Costa.

Sadly, JTs time is up. So is Brana. Oscar looks totally anonymous and mind elsewhere so sell him. If Hazard wants to go, milk Madrid for all its worth and buy a quality player who wants to be here. Even sell Fabregas and get either Koke or Isco. We need young, talented, hungry players with good attitude - there are a lot of weak minded players at our club to be honest. JT can't lead as he did anymore, he's simply not able to command things as he did because he's not the same player.

Mass spend over the next two windows to rebuild this team. Keep played who want to be here. Give players like RLC, Kenedy and Baba Rahman a run - they all have looked up for it and committed when they have played.

Is Jose the man to do all this? I still have minor hope. My heart says yes. But my head says it will likely be another manager overseeing it.

Either way, time to find out who really wants to be here, and get rid of anyone who doesn't. And spend big to bring in more quality, and blood the young players properly.

Nothing to lose now. Go for it I say.

Sounds pretty similar to that 'specialist in failure' Mr Wenger...........though I don't recall them sat in a position similar to this.

Maybe he is not quite the joke manager so many of us want to believe off the back of Jose's snipes.

Roles reversed here and Jose would be turning the screw on Wenger big time. To be fair to Wenger, he is showing some class by not adding to our problems with sound bytes .

All well and good saying forget FFP and splash the cash, we know from what happened in the summer that offering £40m to a club that simply doesn't want to sell won't get us the players we want!

^And about 5 or 6 of the 13 need dropping on current form.

This excuse would hold some weight if Jose used a squad in his time in the PL. Your crying over something that would make little difference again.

Just like 'Mikel and Ramires are clearly not fit' bollox you have been spouting to try and justify when they were not playing earlier this season.
