Bamford has also seen Remy used as a 3rd choice striker and a player who only scored 6 goals last season get ahead of him, and that as a loan signing too. Bamford will come off the bench on loan, the same thing as Falcao will do here. Remy or Falcao will be on the bench, Bamford could easily have done that job.

Kalas got buried by the likes of Luiz, who couldn't even play at centre back. As for his loans, he is a centre back that went to Middlesbrough half way through the season and played at right back, and he didn't do anything wrong. If he is that poor, then what is he still doing on the books?

Why did Stones do better? Because Everton has patience, something we don't have, and like to spend over the odds instead.

Edit: As for Traore; Cuadrado is all of a sudden back in contention, Moses is ahead of him, and Kenedy has a work permit, not to mention that Jose is a safe manager that can't even sub off a player like Fabregas who looks like he is wearing boots made out of lead. Good luck to the lad, he is going to need it.

Since when has not doing anything wrong been a grounds to play for Chelsea or indeed for Crystal Palace of Bournemouth?

Why do you need to use an idiom about a violent sexual attack to describe a poor football performance.

Please think carefully first if you are going to use graphic terms.

Only one way to find out, throw him in at the deep end. We did it at Anfield, and the kid answered. For those who say he had protection that day, he got the same protection that the rest of our defenders got on a regular basis last season. So I guess they must also be poor too.

Do you think the club would have considered even a £5m offer today had he not been on our books already and played at the clubs he has performing to the level we've seen?

No. Not a chance. There is your answer.

As for being thrown in the deep end - he was thrown in the shallow end and was barely afloat. Droy has already outlined what he has achieved so far. It's not very impressive at all.

He may be a squad option at a lower place club in Germany. We should aim a lot higher than that.

Scooba

Everton would be crazy to reject that.

We would be crazy to offer it.

£40m for Stones? You could buy the club for £45m

Did anyone watch much of the European Under 21 Championship? Little fella called Bernardo Silva pulled all the strings for a very good Portugal team. Impish, little creator in the David Silva mould. Straight away you might think, "Ah, but Under 21 level is a long way behind Premier League level," but he's also the little magician who absolutely pulled Arsenal apart for Monaco in the Champions League last season.

Most of us agree on here that Chelsea are seriously lacking in creative ability in the final third and that currently Hazard has far too much responsibility on his shoulders and the amount of options seem to be diminishing daily.

This little fella is the type of player we need, he's the right profile and surely wouldn't be expensive in the way that a Griezmann appears to be...oh, and shares the same agent as Jose and Falcao apparently.

Thoughts?

Since when did shakey performances merit bids in the region of £30M. Edited by GURJ SS
