Don't think there's any chance of that, United cruising at Swansea another 4-0, didn't have to get out of 2nd gear, the FA have given them a nice easy start

The score flatters them. Barely did anything and Swansea were in it until the last 15 minutes or so.

Inter are prepared to sell Antonio Candreva to Chelsea for €27.3m (£25m), according to the Mirror newspaper.

The right-sided winger has long been on Antonio Conte’s wish-list, having worked with him for the Italy national team.

Up until now, the Nerazzurri were reticent to release Candreva, but with Ivan Perisic on the verge of a contract extension, he could be sacrificed.

The former Juventus, Udinese and Lazio man cost €22m plus bonuses last summer, so there would be a very small profit, or at least breaking even.

He is already 30 years old and is under contract with Inter until June 2020.

It’s believed the club would use this money to buy Patrik Schick from Sampdoria

Candreva back on the menu apparently.

With pogba being referred to as a 'lucky boy' to not be sent off. Funny how often they are 'lucky boy's

United look really good.

And our useless board gave them the final piece in the jigsaw. Typical.

Well done Roman and the board.

Chelsea could have a hand in the title four years running and only win it twice.

Doesn't mater. Media will wet themselves about it and act like Matic is the new Zidane, and talk about how we've gifted them the title by selling Matic to them.

And the last part is true. Matic has freed up Pogba to become their Lampard.

Imagine, if the board had backed Jose and got Pogba here two years ago we'd have Matic and Pogba doing their thing, maybe with Kante, for us.

Instead we got Dilibodji.

I could take United doing well under Jose, but not when we had a major hand in making it happen.

Come on... chelsea gonna win it this year! When boko and kante bossing the midfield UTD will know why we gave them Matic

Hope so. If we get the right players in before the deadline, then after the international break, with Hazard and Bakayoko fully fit and no players suspended, I think we'll have a chance. Still not convinced we'll retain our title even then. United and City look the strongest and Jose's teams always do well in his second season.

For them, yes. But he's about as mobile as a truck. Not suited to the role we would need him for.

Surprisingly similar when it comes to ground covered but I know Drinkwater is more athletic and attack minded...

Still not bad for a HG former international player that reportedly cost £1m...

Perspective Leicester, perspective.

If reports can be believed, very pleased to hear we're still after Bellotti.

I think you're conveniently forgetting that we did put in a substantial bid for Pogba, but a combination of both Pogba and Juventus (one not really wanting to move to us, and the other not being willing to sell) saw us knocked back. Please stop criticising the board all the time just because they don't treat real life in the same way as you play Football Manager (probably in cheat mode, too!)
