Good job to the club for the lack of vision of what's about to transpire and still going with short term signings like Higuain then.

the inevitable appeal puts pay to that worry I imagine

Maybe great news for some of the kids........Reece James for one, is someone I would love to see get a chance, along with Tammy.

Does anyone know where we stand with Kovacic? He is with us, but not our player. Could he stay here?

I doubt it... he is permanently registered to RM, but only temporarily so with us. The ban isn't a 'transfer' ban but a registration ban. We can buy as many players as we want... we just can't register them to play.

It's all good boys and girls, we'll just call back the 29 players we have out on loan.

Quadruple is on next season.

Putting aside for the moment that I'm certain the club will appeal this decision , if you were the owner of a football club and you'd employed someone to sign up the best kids in Europe which resulted in a two window transfer  ban when half your team is almost out of contract and you never actually play these kids you've been nefariously signing then surely , heads must roll ?

Maybe the head has already been cut-off and rolled?

If an appeal doesn't work and the ban comes into force this summer, where would that leave Pulisic?

He's already been signed and loaned back to Dortmund so he's going to be part of this wonderful ride over the next couple of years.

Where will this leave Higuaín and Kovacic, heading back to Italy and Madrid?

There just might be a silver-lining in this with the youngsters coming through.

Could be exciting times or a disaster.

I actually don't think it will be a disaster yet for sure interesting times ahead.

Gross incompetence by this shambles of a board if proven.

Higuain has an option to extend, so presume can be executed

Well, most of the indiviudals who were involved in the signing(s) have already moved on

Gourlay was Chief Exec and Emenalo DoF (or whatever the exact title was)
