Apparently, we're buying the league. From a United supporter conveniently forgetting the £200m they spent last year.

We are buying the league, or at least trying to.

This is quite possibly one of the greatest transfer windows in history.

Absolutely made up with these signings. Exactly the types of players we should have been getting in the first place.

What a statement we are making.

The tears from opposing fans on Twitter have been flowing today. It’s been great to see.

I don't know what's most annoying about Twitter.

Other fans criticising us or the popular Chelsea accounts repeating the very same things and claiming them as their own and complimenting each other on reaching 20,000 followers.

"The pull of Lampard"

"Ziyech, Werner, Havertz... You love to see it"

"Statue for Marina"

If I see one more of these doing the rounds I'll explode.

And bet they still get more penalties than anyone else next season :-(

I don’t remember opposition fans complaining when we spent £200M on Morata, Drinkwater and Bakayoko. I wonder why...

Maybe it's because those guys were looked at as meh by others but these new guys pose a threat.

Just my opinion.

I'm holding back the bunting until the new keeper is signed.

Strangely neither did ours! The Holy Trinity of transfers!!

What's Drinkwater up to btw? Training to be an Uber driver maybe?

Reports of a 2 year contract for a 35 (nearly 36) year old.  Thoughts?

I'm satisfied. There's reports it will be a 1+1 type deal - with either team/player option for the additional year.

The age aspect doesn't bother me all too much with Silva. He reads the play at a high level and get himself into the right areas early, which will help offset some of the leg speed he's lost over the last few years. Worst case, we play a deeper defensive line. Which, given the frequency Zouma spends in no mans land, the rashness of Rudiger recently, and a lack of defensive protection in midfield, may not be a bad thing for defensively solidarity anyway.

Surely he’s still banned from driving?
