If city and not Barca, Real or Bayern, are in a position to buy Haaland, FIFA will have something to say.

Tricky though - they just scrapped FFP to bail Barca, Real and Bayern out.

Jimenez from Wolves in that Diego Costa mould would be lovely but shame what happened to him.

No spring chicken either

Even if they were not bailed out by scrapping FFP, those who think Haaland is coming to the club, are living in Lady gaga land. Next seasons dosh is going on trinket player for whoever is the head coach. As mentioned several times, last season was the big spend to put the club in the  position to win the PL and be in contention for several years , with a trinket player for the next 3-4 seasons

A Giroud replacement for peanuts in the summer is on the cards

Lukaku is an interesting shout but for me that ship has sailed.

I don't think that would be a great transfer to be honest. He would be expensive, would command monster wages and comes with a somewhat questionable ego imo.

I woul dmuch rather go with a younger more technical choice as a striker. If Kun Agüero was 22 now he would have been the obvious candidate for me.

The club would be better putting Tammy on a course of steroids if you want a lukaku.

Milner is another who bizarrely beefed up overnight

Or Gilmour on Messi's hgh.

Have to say that I am impressed with Zouma having avoided a Lukaku shaped body so far.  I suspect that takes a lot of self-discipline.

Milner?  When was that?  Or are you thinking of the skinny16 year old debutant?

I don't know how old you are but a young Kun came off the bench in the Champions League and scored two excellent goals against us years ago and we were clamouring to sign him but he wanted £300k per week apparently and that was too much for us .

I think he was about 19/20 at the time and breathtakingly good .
