Overall leader Sleeping Dave's hopes of doing the double are intact but he's facing a tough semi-final. His opponent 3Sphinx has comfortably the highest AR of any member with more than 3 entries in the RJMC. In terms of sustained accuracy with his predictions, no one beats what 3Sphinx has been able to do. Looking forward to this one enormously.

The line-up of the first semi won't be finalised until the quarter-final replay between Richard Redmond and Gaurav_blue is settled. Based on league placings, Richard has to be the clear favourite to emerge from this group of three and reach the final. On the other hand, if we look at AR then Gaurav_blue is the one to watch. Having said that though, we can't ignore Jedini's long term consistency.

Looking forward to this one just as much. :)

Semi-Finals Draw:Jedini vs. Gaurav_blue or Richard RedmondSleeping Dave vs. 3SphinxTies will be played using predictions for the Premier League game with West Ham Utd on Wednesday 29th January.

What happens if we again have a tie?

Firstly, your replay involves extra-time. This means that if your scores are level after both predictions are compared to Jose's starting eleven, Jose's substitutions will then be taken into account. You will score an extra-time hit if any player in your original prediction is introduced as a substitute. If your scores are still tied after extra-time then your match will go to a second, and final, Replay.

If we get that far, the second replay will involve extra-time and, if necessary, penalties. I'll remind everyone of the procedure for penalties if and when we get there.

As you've seen the eventual winner of your tie will face Jedini in the semi-final.

Doing the double? I'm more concerned to get back to top five of the form table at the moment!

3Sphinx must be the favourite in our semi. *Jose nods approvingly*

;)
