I read somewhere that the deadline for the Bridge agreed planning permission on the redevelopment is next month.

Redevelopment of the stadium aside, could work not start on making it easier to get to Fulham Broadway on match days ? It's so cramped.

Walk 15 minutes to Earl's Court / West Brompton or 10 to Imperial Wharf. Much easier.

Yes the land value would be greater there meaning we could buy a larger plot at Earls Court, maybe even make a profit. No works to the underground required either. I imagine the neighbours in prime Fulham are quite vociferous with their opinions with regards to the football too, we would be doing everyone a favour. Win win for us, TFL, H&F council and less residents put out at Earls Court. The only losers would be places like the slug and lettuce (or whatever its called now)

Plus we wouldn't need to play at Wembley for 4 years. They could build the new stadium, we move in, then they redevelop the Bridge to build residential properties in a far more desirable area than Earl's Court.

The more stadium redevelopments there are the more special Stamford Bridge becomes.

Looks like they’re letting the planning permission lapse.

I think they pulled out of this some time ago.
The visa issue for RA was one big thing.
And generally I don't think he felt that competing with City or PSG (when they had the funds) was a particularly smart thing to do - we spent 5 or 6 years of upfront investing to get where we wanted to be, but they have been doing it for a lot longer, have one CL semi between them,  and till now were still spending and losing a load of money trying to get better.
And when next season starts we'll be doing well to sell 35k at full price.

Were we to rebuild, then it would take 3-4 years, during which time we could groundshare with a smaller club. Suppose it’s a bit of a gamble on when a vaccine is produced - assuming it is. Maybe there’s an extension deal behind the scenes?
