Can I just sneak in a very happy 39th birthday to the wonderful Ricardo Carvalho, one of my Chelsea heroes. Happy days 😜

Truly the best centre half we've ever had . Peerless.

With apologies to JT the best home grown one.

Yep, agreed Mark. When you remember that we also had William Gallas then, who was also brilliant, then it's clear why we were so successful.

Harsh on JT, who has been absolutely fantastic for one and a half decade, partnering up with at least 10 different CBs. Carvalho had the pleasure of always playing alongside JT ...

Yeah personally I'd always go with Terry but Carvalho was bloody fantastic too.

Absolutely loved Lord Percy. Him, JT and Gallas in the same defence. Amazing. What would these three be worth today, were they at their peak?

Ricky Carvalho, only 39? Blimey, thought that was decades ago! Brilliant player, always in the right place at the right time...

93 points up for grabs. 30 wins up for grabs. JT's last home game. Trophy lifting time.

It's going to be a party.

One step beyond.

Good point. Imagine trying to sign a 24 year old version of any of those........ If Stones is worth £50m (he isn't).........
