Advice on buying 2 tickets April2018

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

My 14 year old son and I will be flying from New Zealand next year to see family in Scotland and his one request he wants to do more than anytime for the whole trip is to be able to go to a Chelsea match.

We will be in London for the weekend of 7/8 April so looking to see how I can be 100% confident in getting tickets for the West Ham game.  I've bought him a teen membership so am I right in thinking that we can either:

a) buy as membership for myself as well and link the membership so we can each buy one but have them seated together

or

b) wait until he can buy two tickets in the next ticket allocation?

This is the only chance to do this and so I definitely don't want to chance general sale and hospitality looks great but is just too expensive for us

Are those the best options and which is the best one to go for?

I’d say go for option A - I can’t see the match going to the extra ticket option. If you miss out on getting tickets that way, there is also the official ticket exchange, where you can buy one ticket per membership, from Season Ticket Holders that can’t make the match. My friend and I often list our tickets on the exchange if one of us can’t make the match. It sounds like you’d be after one Adult and one Child ticket though, so it may be hard to find those come up next to each other (usually there are just single tickets).

By the way, it’s good to see other Kiwi Chelsea supporters on here! I’m originally from Auckland myself. Good luck getting the tickets, as long as you get in early, you should have no problems.
