Hearing Musonda is already Monaco bound (to link up with Emenalo). Could be a good move for him. This season was too early for him sadly, and he probably needs at least 18 months of good development on loan to be involved in the first team discussion again.

Will he get to start at all?

What I wonder when I read things like this, is - if he can't get game time at Chelsea, how is he supposed to get game time at Monaco?

Because they're not as good as us?

Just look at their squad, and the depth of it.

They just finished bottom of a very ordinary CL group.

They will probably lose Lemar too.

Sure, but they won Ligue 1 last season, and they're second behind PSG at the moment (granted, by 16pts) - sounds a bit like Chelsea over the past 4 seasons!  My point though was the depth of their squad - 30 players currently. Sure, they might lose one or two, but then they have the money to keep them as well, so who knows? I'd still be concerned if he went there, because if he can't break through at Chelsea now, would it be any different at Monaco?

The club would certainly benefit from the move, just as long as it's us who gets Lemar.........:).
