Playing on the evening of deadline day, and we possibly have a proper CF head ache. Morata is already out (according to reports), Batshuayi is probably off on loan and a new CF seems too far away from being ready to start on Wednesday (also has to be registered before Tuesday mid-day). 3-4-3 with false 9?

XI: Courtois - Azpi Christensen Rudiger - Moses Kanté Bakayoko Alonso - Fabregas Hazard Pedro

Bench: Caballero, Cahill, Zappacosta, Drinkwater, Barkley, Hudson-Odoi + new CF?

- Out: Willian, Morata, Luiz (possibly), Musonda (loan?)

- Back: Courtois, Fabregas

I guess the transfers in or out will dictate the team......... So many rumours, it is difficult to know what is happening.

Your line up thus: Courtois - Azpi Christensen Rudiger - Moses Kanté Bakayoko Alonso - Fabregas Hazard Pedro is looking likely

As it the bench: Caballero, Cahill, Zappacosta, Drinkwater, Barkley, Hudson-Odoi + Batshuyai?

Any new signing won't arrive in time. If Bats is going, can't imagine he will play and any replacement will be too late. Have no idea who that 7th sub goes to......Sterling? Redan?

Available players:

Courtois, Caballero, Eduardo

Azpilicueta, Christensen, Cahill, Rüdiger

Moses, Alonso, Zappacosta

Kanté, Fabregas, Bakayoko, Drinkwater

Hazard, Pedro, Barkley

Batshuayi (TBC)

Ampadu, Hudson-Odoi and Sterling will be the other options for the bench as they are training with the first team and didn't play for the development squad last night (Kyle Scott did).

Is Luiz officially injured again??  Or just in Limbo still.

Well Conte says that he has a problem with his ankle and it happened two days before the Newcastle game. But this was in a press conference so you can't be 100% sure until Thursday.

Injured. Was watching from the bench on Sunday. Not sure he would bother if he was being shipped out

Most realistic line-up, I'd say:

Courtois

Moses Azpilicueta Christensen Cahill Alonso

Drinkwater Kante Fabregas

Hazard Pedro

Personally I'd start Hudson-Odoi down the middle in a 3-4-3, though.

Courtois

Azpilicueta Christensen Cahill

Moses Kante Fabregas Alonso

Pedro Hudson-Odoi Hazard

Whatever the team we put out it should be a walk in the park.no need for too much analysis unless we are a team in crisis.
