He has turned down what appears to be a very lucrative long term deal at the club that took him on as and 8 year old boy. Not only that it was widely reported that he handed in a transfer request.

He's very lucky not to be sitting in the reserves until he either signs a new contract or leaves at the end of his current deal.

With his attitude he does not deserve to be playing at the expense of anyone in the first team squad, regardless of what people think of each individuals ability.

Not for me. You're basically saying that he should know his place and that, even if he is at least as good as, and indeed possibly better than those ahead of him, he should nevertheless stay on the bench because he's guilty of being a product of our own young development policy and should be thankful for it.

The reality is that it's a 2-way street. He's benefited from our youth development policy yes, but so have we as he's now ready to fulfil his potential. To keep him on the bench, even though he might be the equal or even better than others is perverse and clearly, since you're saying that regardless of comparative abilities he should be punished for his attitude, to the detriment of the team. We should be operating a straightforward meritocracy, not a bizarre, pseudo schoolboy punishment system for young offenders.

If our team is stronger with him, or anyone else in it, then he should be selected and plenty of other clubs are being seen to field players of his age so its no surprise that he and his agent might feel they have a right to fight their corner on the basis of contrast negotiations while the club are being seen to prevaricate.

With a bit of luck you will get your wish an CHO will move on this summer.

With a bit of luck he will sign a new contract and stay for the foreseeable future.

I am sure you will be happy with a squad next season full of ex-galaticos from RM, Barca, the born in the USA Star who will increase our cousins across the waters interest in the club and not forgetting Sarri’s pet Higuain

Why's that?

It's really quite simple.

Sign a new contract and play more football.

Go and listen the yes man press conferences prior to the sky falling in and his ideal player and who he would like the club to give new or extended contracts too

What better players Paul? Are Pedro and Willian contributing so much to the team these days?

Yes - I think we can dump that idea pretty easily.

My guess is that the club expect him to sign with a proper agent soon.  That the club don't believe his immediate family will be steering him much longer, and that the "unsourced rumours" that clearly come from brother and father, will stop soon.

BTW the official site had an interview with RLC.  He reckons he has been advised by his own half-brothers - ex pros, Carl and Leon Cort.
At 18 he would have been in a very similar position to CHO.  Clearly his brothers advised him to sign a big contract long term contract with Chelsea.  I'm pretty sure that would be the right advice for CHO.

BTW2 - I don't think he is suffering from not signing a contract at all...           ... yet.

Yes it is. Select him according to his ability and he'll no doubt sign the contract, instead of giving some other club the opportunity to show confidence in him and benefit from the development effort we've put in instead of ourselves.

The bottom line Martin is that if he's at least as good a player or better than the other alternatives right now, then he should be selected ahead of them. Nothing should stand in the way of that and certainly not a punishment system which has nothing to do with the comparative abilities and potential contribution levels from the players we have to choose from.

He's still at school.  Then he'll go on loan and is he is half as good as some claim he will come back at 30+

Typical Chelsea

That's exactly what has been happening.

Again, that is what is happening.

The club and or manager have in no way punished him or limited his chances because of his attitude, quite the opposite, it's my opinion that they should.

Yes. They are both better. It is quite clear if you remove the biazarre narrative.
