How many points did Conte make up in his first season here?

Not even remotely similar.

If Chelsea were unsuited to 'Sarri-ball', Juve are even less suited! Can you honestly see Chiellini, Bonucci and Rugani playing a high line? Maybe CR7 can do what Hazard did for us, and save him from embarrassment in some games, but he can't keep relying on  one player season after season. In general terms, he's inheriting an even older squad even more set in their ways than he did at Chelsea. If he wasn't the 'right fit' for us, he's a disaster-in-waiting at Juve

True but a) they have loads of money to spend b) they can actually buy players c) there is virtually no competition in Serie A (atm) d) as you've mentioned Ronaldo. So even floundering and not playing Sarri Ball they should win the league at a canter even if it masks a poor managerial performance

They're not interested in winning the league

Like City , it's nice but its not top priority , they want desperately to win the Champions League .

There are so many excuses that have been made as to why Sarri is a useless buffoon its embarrassing.

Some of you need to put your, unfair dislike, of him aside and just admit you were wrong. Debate the style of football as much as you like but to claim anything other than that he did a very, very good job here is just wrong.

I'm sticking to my guns... they won't be champions this time next year (under Sarri, if he lasts that long) nor will they win the CL.

Nice try but only one poster on here describes Sarri as a useless buffoon or anything similar.

Some of you need to control the pro-Sarri hysteria.

Don't disagree. Was just posting it up for people to read. If anyone is also interested the full interview is already up on the Juventus website.

Thanks, just read it.

That old chestnut, let's blame Hazard because he wouldn't defend.  Never mind that he won matches on his own for us.  Oh and we had the wrong type of wingers which begs the question...……..

None of our players are as good as Ronaldo...…….doh.

And joining Juventus is the crowning moment of his career...…….sorry to have kept you Maurizio.

Never saw him wearing a suit at Chelsea either.  "I would prefer not to wear the suit and tie on the pitch.  The important thing at my age is that they don't send me out there naked".  He's not wrong there.

There is no pro-Sarri hysteria whatsoever,  just some of us that were more open minded about him and judge him for how our season actually went rather than making up excuse after excuse as to why he's rubbish.

People were wrong. Really wrong. Time to admit it and move on.

Wonderful irony again Ham.  What do you think all the pro CHO posts are really about, if not a last chance attempt at justifying the anti-sarri belief.
Pro-sarri hysteria - nice try.

They'll move on when the new guy arrives.  Probably soon, Chelsea usually wait for everything to go quiet before they actually announce anything.

They are miles behind them and have been for years. Conte may make a difference, but nowhere near enough.

Funnily enough, the only manager to get anywhere near them in recent years is now in charge.

Almost zero threat from anyone in that league, it's less competitive than Scotland.

Re: Chelsea fans giving Sarri stick as reason for him leaving. He has had no problem jumping ship to a team where the fans are giving him stick before he has even joined. Don't buy it one bit.

So the strange thing here, is that the biggest club in Italy, with a completely free hand and an endless budget, chose to pay Chelsea for Sarri rather than take Conte as manager.

As LoC points out, it is not as though they have done it to avoid fan reaction.

And in other news - what's with JM this season?
