Then make an effort to go look it up and watch it.

Some of the chances created an opportunity. Still needed some control and in some cases more than 1 or 2 touches from the receiver but nevertheless those passes negated the opposition line of defence. If Morata and Willian were more clinical you wouldn't be so cynical.

Just wasted 6 minutes waiting to be proven wrong.

Did you watch this?

It's amazing what you class as an assist.  This video just confirmed what I thought. Keep moving the goalposts until you've made your point.

Did I class anything as an assist? I said it could have been an assist if those chances were finished, some easy chances. Keep distorting what others said to prove your point.

You appear to be classing any forward pass towards a Chelsea player as evidence that Jorginho has been unfairly hamstrung by poor finishing.

Only one person distorting the facts here pal.

I maintain that I've seen a couple of passes forward that should have resulted in goals.

There is no conundrum!.Kante is head and shoulders better than Jorgi in any position!!!!!!.

Pretty much. But Kante is world class, so it doesn’t mean Jorginho is crap.

Serie A - slower, less dynamic, more tactical.

EPL - quicker, more dynamic, less tactical.

Jorginho - not quick, not dynamic, very very tactically astute. Main attribute is reading opposition tactics and setting up the right attacking plays with the right players at the right time

Kante - supremely quick, supremely dynamic.

Kante is in the right league but wrong team. Jorginho is in the wrong league but right team. The conundrum is real and I wonder if Sarri will solve it. I think he will if he can create a Serie A team within the EPL. But that’s like building a Swiss watch in China.

Should do it for about 15 million then. 😅

The Jorginho thread is closed, so posting in this one.......

Interesrting to read SFL's comments on Jorginho. Very fullsome in praise.

Question; if SFL picks Jorginho on a regular basis, will those enlightended individuals who call him things like "Sarri's love child" or "Sarri's adopdted son" start calling him "Frank's love child", or will he end up just being Jorginho, and judged on his merits, rather than an extension of Sarri, who was unpopular with those same individuals?

There were a few , like me for one , who didn't rate Sarri but did rate Jorginho, quite a few to be honest.

Fair enough. Joking aside, I do wonder where SFL sees Jorginho and Kante. One presumes in a double pivot, like we used to play in 2014/15 when it was Kante and Matic (sometimes Cesc)

I am actually excited about them sitting at the base.. of our midfield with kovacic (possibly) rotating..  Especially moving Kante central so he can have a greater affect on the play... at times I felt that with Azpi and him towards the right it almost pushed opposition to attack the other side.. it will be interesting to see if he plays left in the partnership or right.. if he is played on the left he could provide cover to our weaker left side of the defense..

Personally I think Jorgi is going to be absolute class under Lamps , Lamps is hinting at a different role but whatever it is I'm sure Jorginho will be fine.

He works hard , he can pick a pass , he gets about reasonably quickly and can tackle too , that double pivot sounds mighty tasty .
