Now, to something completely new:

Caballero

Zappa - Ampadu - Christensen - Alonso

Luiz

Kovacic - Jorginho - Ruben

HOdoi - Giroud

:) :) wonder how this will work

The business part of the EL starts.  Strong team.  That is why Christensen started at Fulham and Hazard was subbed off.

World rankings:
Malmo 151  (326 in 2017)

Dynamo Kiev 61  (41 in 2017)

Chelsea 30  (21 in 2017)

I think we'll see a pretty strong team for this one, no messing around with Europa at this point. I still think a few changes/rotation will be made, but it'll still be a strong team:

Caballero

Azpilicueta Christensen Luiz Alonso

Kante Jorginho RLC

Pedro Higuain Hazard

Bench: Kepa, Rudiger, Barkley, Kovacic, CHO, Willian, Giroud

I really hope we get a good solid win without conceding, so we can rest a few in the second leg, but ultimately just want a win.

COME ON CHELS!

Genuinely no idea who he will pick in this one.

It's obviously an important competiton, but against a team we should beat, whilst certain players need rotating, and with a potential difficult game on Sunday............

Life’s a bitch when your bench mark for this competition is TFSW?

Id rather have RLC eased in. He clearly has issues with fitness. Azpi, Hazard and Jorginho need some time off. In fact, I'd give Hazard the complete weekend off.

Kepa

Zappa - Luiz - Christensen - Alonso

Kante - Kovacic - Barkley

CHO - Higuain - Hazard

Interesting to think how strong we'll go for this one.

Clearly, you win it, you're back in the CL - but if this is round of 16, then it's seven games to win it.

Not sure how I balance that off with the fact that if we win our PL game in hand, we are in a CL spot - and have some 'relatively' easier games coming up.

I still think our best bet is to go for it in the PL rather than the EL.

The competition is ridiculous. 7 more games......... 15 in total.
