I'd go with a very young side for this one.

Caballero; James, Guehi, Tomori, Alonso; Gilmour, Kovacic, Barkley; Pulisic, Batshuayi, Hudson-Odoi

With Emerson out injured, I'm not sure I'd want to risk Alonso.

I expect Zouma will start too, having not done so in the last couple.

So even younger:

Caballero; James, Guehi, Zouma, Maatsen; Gilmour, Kovacic, Barkley; Pulisic, Batshuayi, Hudson-Odoi

Subs: Cumming, Tomori, Lamptey, Jorginho, Anjorin, Pedro, Giroud

Some chat that Tino Anjorin will play some part.

Fully expect Grimsby to score.

Big price on Chelsea to win, both teams to score.....

He has a look of RLCMKII about him. Strangely, seems to have been more on the bench at PL2 level recently. Looks very talented player, I just hope it’s not because he is much bigger and stronger than most lads of his age. That will level out soon enough.

With the injuries we have I would not be risking anyone one that is needed to start games. I know SFL wants his first SB win but we do not need to be messing around with the LC this year. For me, this is a prefect oppotunity to be seeing the likes of James, Guehi, CHO, Maatsen etc get a run out. The only players that are experienced that I want to see are players like Willy, Zouma, Barkley, Bats and maybe Dave, Pedro and Jorgi. No one else needs to be risked.

I think Frank should set out to win this, he has said himself he wants to build a winning mentality  and we also have the issue of not having a home win so far.

I am not suggesting the first XI yet at least 7 or 8 players that have appeared regularly in the first XI once we are comfortable and a couple of goals up then bring on younger subs.

I suspect Grimsby's approach might be similar to Colchester against Spurs. Let's hope the outcome is different.
