Robbed City blind in the first half.

Well thievery and Liverpool are so intertwined we shouldn't be surprised really.

I forgot to mention the lovely reception given to Gary Cahill.

From what he was saying after, I think his heart is still here 💙

Shabbily treated by you know who. I'm glad we had the chance to show him how respected he still is at SB 👏🏻

When they showed the decision on Sky they showed just before the cross was played.

Definitely offside when the ball was kicked and especially when you consider the bullsh1t decision against Sheffield United the previous day where they placed the line on his knee instead of his shoulder.

As for the TAA handball, he absolutely knew what he was doing when he stopped that cross with his arm. Sterling was clear on goal behind him if he let that ball through. For the ref and then VAR to miss that is pure fraud.

The ball hit Silvas hand before TAA and as we know, if it hits an attackers arm it's a foul no matter what.

And have only recently got there.  It was an incredible stat while it lasted.
Still we still haven't beaten anyone of quality other than Ajax - yet.  The City game is a big one for the current in form side.

Well yes - but then it is equally meaningless to brag about being 2nd/3rd/4th now.    Our league position is largely based on avoiding challenging games.  If we are still top 4 after game 19, when we should have played everyone, that will be impressive.

Thinking about this a bit more, it would take a monumental effort from us, and one other team below us, for us not to be top 4 after game 19.

Currently 9 points clear of Sheff United and Arsenal, 10 clear of the next 3.

Our next seven league games are: City (a), West Ham (h), Villa (h), Everton (a), Bournemouth (h), Spurs (a), Southampton (h)........even if we collapse, the most negative predicted return from those games is going to be 6 or 7 points (if we carry on as we are, we can expect 12-15). Let's say we only get 7, that means Arsenal or Sheff utd would have to take 17 points from their next 7, 5 wins minimum in 7 games. Bearing in mind they have both won 4 each thus far, seems unlikely / impossible.

It was and is a charter for assisting the powers-that-be to get the result that THEY want.

Imagine the scouse 'lynchmobs' ire, should their goal have been disallowed. They'd have boycotted SKY etc.

The nations 'favourite' team has to win the league, Pep knows it, we know it - Get it over and done with, listen to the 'Insufferables' gloat for the next god knows how many years, it'll be like no other title anyone else has ever won and we can get on with it. Hopefully whilst Real Madrid, Barcelona, Juventus go about unsettling their players for next season.

If you score after controlling it with your arm, it is a foul. It's not an instant foul if it strikes the arm, then play carries on with a pass, (or cross in this instance).

It was a clear penalty, but let's be honest, the first year they introduce VAR, Liverpool were always going to win it.

anyway, City v Chelsea......... I hope we have a go at them for once. Their defence isn't great, especially if Ederson is still out. Would rather die trying.......

Seeing Frank praising Willian today. There was an article about Willian in the Telegraph last week after the Ajax game saying his best performance's have been against the lower teams and may be time to move him on next summer.
