MikelBlue Report post Posted October 19, 2020 Rule of thumbs for me : 1. If Lampard deploys a 4231, Jorginho should not start. 2. If Lampard deploys a 433, Jorginho must start. 3. Plan C is a 4-1-4-1 with Kante at DM behind two 8's (Mount & Kai). This requires increased defensive contributions/workrate from Mount and Kai in central midfield areas. Maybe put him on the right of a back three with Kante and Mount in midfield, Personally I'd start with Ziyech on the right of Werner and Pulisic with Havertz on the bench if things go pear shaped. Ziyech looked like he was in another time zone when he came against SH. I'm pretty sure Lamps is not going to risk him for this type of game...maybe 20 min cameo. Pully also looks very game rusty.
