I hope we are on the red button. Internet streamed football games are poor quality compared to over the air broadcasts.

I just checked https://www.live-footballontv.com/chelsea-on-tv.html to be sure and it turns out we are on the Red Button as well!

Red Button channel numbers:

Terrestrial
Freeview Channels 601–602 (1-2)
Cable
Virgin Media Channels 991–992 (1-2)
Satellite
Freesat Channel 980 (HD)
Channels 981–982 (1-2)
Sky (UK only) Channels 981–982 (1-2)

Correcting myself here while testing during the Stoke-Leicester game.

The pristine iPlayer stream is day and night compared to the blurry pixelated Red Button and has an even better picture quality than Virgin Media's BBC HD, Sky Sports HD and BT Sports HD channels.

A past bad experience with iPlayer streaming and Amazon's poor streaming quality, made me assume the worst with iPlayer this time around.

It really sounds like that would be a waste of effort.
If the U23 team can't beat this side,  I'd be very worried.

Maybe play Werner and Havertz to get them a couple of goals each.
(And win or lose the result has no additional affect on the manager)

The highlight of this game is going to be the team sheet in half an hour's time.
And the most difficult part is likely finding the game on the iplayer at 1.29.

Had nowt else on so put QPR-Fulham on iPlayer yesterday. Bloody thing crashed when I tried to turn it off and I was left stuck with 15 minutes more of it than I'd wanted.

Haha I agree with you on the fiddliness and slowness of the iPlayer interface. The pre-match begins at 13:15.

I'm also guilty of that shame. Could only bear 5 minutes.

It looks like 433, but I really hope it isn't and Havertz is in the middle of a 3 behind Werner, where he performs best.

No idea why Mount isn't given a rest here.

No idea what Tomori has to do to get a game unless he is still going out on loan even with the Christensen injury.

Why not more youth involved, even just on the bench.

Much stronger than expected, wonder if there were issues mixing training bubbles?

Mount is the one I really question. Can understand the others (seniors who aren't playing) but could he not do with a rest? In decent enough form, so surely not about confidence?

Let's hope Werner and Havertz get dodgy deflected, even offside, goals!

Why not more youth?

We need a convincing result given recent form and confidence of players.

Hence why Werner is playing.
