Mad isn't it. At the football everyone is spaced out and in the open air. 

Back to the football and West Ham are currently 6th much to my amazement - they've come a long way since losing 2-0 at home to Newcastle. If we had turned up against them last season, they'd have gone down. We could have relegated them!  

And after Saturday, I am beginning to think we should have thrown the game against Bolton in 98 and sent Everton down.

Well yes, the whole thing is crazy, who would have thought that every piece of research since the first lock down has shown how Covid is less and less and less the great threat people feared back in March (when overreaction could be justified).

But I don't appreciate Football claiming a special place in society.  it isn't.  If this were amateur football at the park it would be a good thing to make an exception for.

His post match interview suggested he was putting the blame firmly on the players shoulders so I doubt it. I fear a drubbing too.

Not seen that, but it fits what I have seen in earlier interviews.  Sounds like he is under pressure at the club.  No surprise.
