CarefreeMuratcan Report post Posted December 27, 2020 Massacre incoming. The Arsenal result is the worst I have felt since our 6-0 defeat against this opposition. Just not looking good.

Who knows if the game is going ahead now, but my first thought after Arsenal was that we'd f**k up against Villa but then do City. Oddly not a game I especially fear. Oddly not a game I especially fear. Losing big to Liverpool would feel horrible. Losing big to any other team would actually be horrible. But losing big to City doesn't hurt that much. My Blood Is Blue Report post Posted December 30, 2020 The best result for us is that this gets postponed, but if it does, no idea when it gets played as fixtures already crammed in and Man City already a number of games behind everyone else. It really is a very strange season and I think it's only going to get stranger still. IF it does go ahead, I think we can presume Ziyech won't be fit, so CHO and Pulisic should play and I'd probably put Werner in as striker as we'll more than likely be playing on the counter and he's far more suited to that role. James possibly not going to be fit to play either and he could probably do with a bit of a break anyway. So if it does go ahead, I'd probably fo for: Mendy Azpi - Zouma - Silva - Chilwell Mount - Kante - Kovacic CHO - Werner - Pulisic
Diddymen Report post Posted December 30, 2020 Even if half their players are hit with COVID and they fielded their u9s and grounds men, we would still end up losing this 1
Mark Kelly Report post Posted December 30, 2020 Whilst half of me wonders why a side with sixty full time professionals cannot cope with the loss of five, missing this, game would be great for our confidence. One less loss. We'd soon make them look good again.

If it gets called off we will essentially have a nearly 3 week break, assuming our team vs Morecambe is heavily rotated.
