Need to win this one, we owe them big time and I hope we really go at them from the off.

Interesting to see what back 3 TT picks for this one, does he stay with the 3 that played Palace or does he bring Silva back in. Need to ignore sentiment and I’ll the team that gives us most chances of winning, so I think Silva will come back in.

Mendy

Christensen
Silva
Rudiger

Azpi
Jorginho
Kante (Kovacic if Kante not fit)
Alonso

Havertz
Lukaku
Mount

subs: Kepa, Chalobah, Chilwell, James, Kovacic, RLC, CHO, Pulisic, Werner

When was the last time we won against arsenal?

December 29, 2019 at Arsenal - Jorginho and Tammy Abraham(!) scored for  us - both in the last minutes of the game.

It was Arteta's first home match as Arsenal manager.

and:

Tariq Lamptey became the fifth player aged 21 or under to make their Premier League debut for the Blues so far in this season. Academy, anynone :)

They always have our mark in these games ,often helped by weak referees but all the same we really need to beat them and it would be lovely to really beat them soundly . Arteta is an unbelievably rotten manager and their board appears to have no idea whatsoever.

Letting Martinez go and keeping Leno was just the tip of the iceberg.

Lukaku walks into the team .

0-5

We went into this game last season expectant that we would beat Arsenal as they were on a bad run. They raised their game and Arteta got a reaction, whilst we were predictably mentally weak and ill prepared.

Different manager now and we are clearly a different animal to then. We need to be cautious here though, Arteta might not be pulling up any trees as a manager, but he can get them organised and full of running. They cannot afford a repeat of Friday night in their first home game of the season.

Hoping Kante is fit for this one.

I am hoping he was left out on Saturday with the view he was needed much more for next week, and was precautionary.

Add Kante and Lukaku into that team, and it looks serious. Lukaku must have looked at the Brentford game and be licking his lips.

Arsenal, brutal?

If we get a decent return from those 5 games, we'll be in a great position.
