I recall that there was a time when we could watch the match without the inane drivel that passes for “commentary”. And they call this “progress” … keep feeling wistful for the days of Andy Grey and Martin Tyler … commentary should be more than just telling you who has the ball, it should tell you what you don’t necessarily know …

Play to the whistle ? Not Chelsea , we win the ball the ref plays on and we then slow right down waiting for the ref to stop the game .

Genuinely shocking from Alonso.

I always thought Gray was fair to us but these days especially you can hear Tyler’s undisguised disappointment when we score. 💁🏿‍♂️🧨

Bad decision making and execution, Mount should have played Havertz, the pass to Lukaku and the return to Mount lacked technique, the shot was rushed.

A corner from an offside move? What's that about.

Havertz is too big to be so weak when receiving the ball with his back to goal. Be stronger, man!

Yep, and too lazy. The ball was still in the air and still in play, and he was claiming a throw in instead of challenging for it.

He plays football like he's just woken from a coma , rarely appears to know what's going on and has no strength or coordination.

All of a sudden this season it's our numbers 8 and 10 that are found wanting. Who'd have thought.
