True but none of the players we have sent there have dominated like he has. A Bundesliga loan would be where I would be sending him next. Premier league loans are very difficult and there have been plenty more failures than successes. It ensures he can stay away from a relegation battle or the Championship and so far Christensen, De Bruyne, Batshuayi and Thorgan Hazard have all done great.

Yep , it makes perfect sense to me too.

I'm hoping we have a good one here !

Some of these names (+ Eduardo) have been announced before.

It is Cole Dasilva going, not the better known Jay Dasilva who has been on loan and playing very regularly and well at Charlton.

Eduardo (first team) and Renedi Masampu (U18s) were also included on the Premier League's released list. For the moment they are still listed on the Club's website. Those mentioned yesterday have since been removed.

Harvey St Clair was on the retained list with a contract offer, which he obviously rejected, whilst Ruben Sammut obviously accepted his contract offer and was happy to disappear off to the Scottish Championship for a year.

Typo! Neither the PL nor the club are 100% accurate hence all the detective work on Twitter trying to understand who's where.

To help with the withdrawal symptoms the UEFA U-19 starts on Monday, which is being shown on Sky in the UK and on YouTube in places without a TV deal:

England play first on Tuesday against Turkey. Chelsea had seven players in the training squad but now that Chalobah, James and Sterling are on loan, whilst Mount and Hudson-Odoi will hope to be with the first team in Australia there might be very little Chelsea involvement. It's for players born on or after 1 Jan 1999 so Guehi, Cumming and McEachran are probably the only other likely candidates.

As big a Chelsea fan as all of us, this really is sad from Todd Kane:

“If I didn’t have my ACL injury I’d be in the first team,” said Kane. “I had meetings with the manager (Antonio Conte) and it was all in line to be involved. I had meetings with him and Michael (Emenalo, technical director) but that bad luck knocked me back."
