Chelsea Reserve & Youth Team

ish

blackburn would be a good loan if he gets games, they play a direct style which would suit di santo. He should do well if he gets games.

I would honestly like to see sahar given a real shot he has done well in general and really needs a season at chelsea with some games here and there just to see if he is any good. Him, stoch, sturridge could be a very good line up, fast direct kind of football that would actually be useful in the second half.

Chelsea really needs to give the 19/20 group of reserve level players a greater shot, even if they are gonna get sold at least that will raise the evaluation

Sir
He was a scholar at the academy but was released by the club ( or moved out due to personal reasons) last year. He then had trials at Charlton and Barnsley.

Oh ok fair enough!

According to the club, it was because he felt the journey from Croydon to Cobham daily wasn't working, and wanted to join Charlton who were closer. But Croydon to Cobham is easy, and Charlton didn't want him. My own feeling is that because Jordan was one of the oldest scholars, turning 17 in September of his first year, he wasn't progressing as well because of his age and the club felt best to cut its losses with him.

Franco Di Santo:

This will be his third season in England, so game time anywhere is much needed.

Playing the occasional reserve game and warming a bench is hardly part of a young player's development in adapting to the English game.

Arnesen has high hopes for him, so let's wait & see.

What? He lives in Eastbourne. It would be much easier for him to get a train to Guildford, then a train from Guildford is only 30 minutes to Reading.

Perhaps it's you that needs to learn your Geography.

The boys who are trying to get this organised are saying to meet in London so I assumed he meant go to Paddington - Guildford - Reading

Just doing some googling, tidbits:

- Alvial, Gillhaus and Congerton went to Italy in May to watch 15 year-old left back Felipe Vargas, who had only just signed with Reggina.

- Chelsea continue to work with the FC Togliatti academy. They've just hired Dutchman Roland Vroomans, who Chelsea invited over at the end of May for a tour and to pick up on ideas he can use over in Russia. Vrooman has long worked at the PSV academy.

how about we all meet at SB about a week before the game, get our tickets together and knock about together for abit.

then on teh day of the game have two meeting points. One at paddington so that those that want to, can travel together, and then another at reading station so that anyone coming from anywhere else can meet up with us lot when we get there.

I'm up for the paddington train, but what do you lot think abt the two meeting points?

Cameron

After a really edgey start from Mancienne, he goes and gets sent off. Really, really poor defending to be honest and totally deserved his red. 1-1 now and down to 10 men.

he just made a careless mistake giving Finland a penalty, and got a red card as well, lol...
